The Owl Story is an English book shop which is situated in the heart of the old walled town of Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal. I opened in February 2007 and hope to cater for all reading tastes.
As well as specialising in nautical books and almanacs I stock new and pre-read fiction and a range of Portuguese language and lifestyle books. |

| To find us travel up the Rua Infante de Sagres towards the town wall, turn left at the fourth crossroads, down Rua do Canal and you can see the shop at the bottom. |

| The shop is open from 10.00a.m. to 19.00p.m. Monday to Friday, I do not close for lunch. |

| FICTION |

I stock a good range of new and pre-read fiction for adult and children and can obtain all the latest books from the U.K. I also offer a book ordering service, which usually is at no extra cost and is completed within 5 to 6 days. |

| SAILING |

|
|
In the Owl story I have a good range of sailing almanacs pilots, practical and technical sailing books, together with the RYA sailing guides. If the book you want is not in stock I can order it for you normally at no extra cost. |

| GENERAL |

|
The general section is a constantly changing area as I react to the requirements of you, my customers. I stock a range of books on Portugal language, lifestyle and cooking. Gardening and walking in the Algarve.
On this web site I do not intend listing the total stock of the shop. The reasons are that it changes too quickly and it might put you off coming to the shop if you donīt see the book you want. If there is a specific title please ring or e-mail me and I can tell you if it is in the shop or perhaps order it for you. |
